PDL takes Sundays as the day off of the week. Just a few curious people that want to avoid being closed at home walk quietly along the streets.
Pigeons now take the control in Campo São Francisco, the place that used to be the meeting point during the summer nights. Those nights that now seem so distant back in time. Just two months has passed since then, and still seven more months to come until mojitos and caipirinhas will be sold again in those colorful barraquinhas. Loads of good moments lived there, now converted into nostalgy.
And not only in town, but also in the sea reigns the calm. The boats still sleep, maybe tired of a stormy night, recharging energy for their next trip to the high seas.
