Aquest cap de setmana passat (4-5 Juny 2011) ha estat la Fira Medieval o Festa de la Sal de Cardona. La festa ja va per la 9a edició, tot i que anteriorment rebia el nom de Fira de Pentacosta (des de 1947). Malgrat la pluja de dissabte, cap al tard vam poder gaudir, entre d'altres events i actuacions, de l'espectacle de falconeria. Com podeu veure hi havia exemplars preciosos i molt fotogènics :)
This last weekend was the Middle-age Fair or Salt Festival in Cardona (town in Catalunya known for its salt mines). Despite the rain, we could enjoy, among some other activities, the show of owls and hawks. As you can see in the pictures they were beautiful and quite photogenic :)

ReplyDeleteYou have such fun festivals where you live! Did the people dress up in medieval costumes? The owls are beautiful, I particularly like the photo of the white one with the orange eyes!
